Throughout this four-week workshop, young writers will take inspiration from horror stories by LGBTQ+ authors and begin drafting a grisly tale of their own. Each week will focus on a different craft element as it relates to horror, from settings to characters to the menace hanging over their heads.
This workshop will use a variety of mindfulness exercises and expressive arts-based activities to promote relaxation, self-compassion, emotional self-awareness and mental well-being.
