Rocky Mountain Equality Playshop for Gender Non-Conforming Folx

Join us for our second Gender Non-Conforming Playshop for folx identifying as trans, non-binary, genderfluid, and beyond! Using InterPlay somatics, art, and mindfulness practices we’ll take a foray into the Gender Affirming closet. Once dressed, we’ll play with allowing our true selves to take up space within community. We’ll engage our bodies’ movement, the sounds our bodies can make, and give our imagination space to play through art collage. Each playshop brings a blend of movement, vocalization, storytelling, and improvisation exercises. You’ll be invited into solo, paired, and group activities designed to unlock your innate creativity and new modes of expression.

Facilitated by Linds Roberts (they/them) & Dana Mooney (she/they) of Gather The Wild Collective, who bring their backgrounds in mindfulness, somatics, education, art, and mental health together in support of Queer community.

InterPlay is a trauma-informed facilitation system that supports mindfulness, self-regulation, somatic release, and mental health. Within gender non-conforming community, we can express ourselves, be surprised by our embodied truths, release tension and stress through play, and be affirmed and witnessed in self-discovery and authenticity. InterPlay forms are grounded in racial and social justice values and are adaptive to be accessible for a wide range of bodies and abilities. Beginners welcome. No experience needed!
