In the 50 years since its inception, Denver Pride has grown from a gathering of community members in a park to a vibrant two-day festival that brings together over half a million members of the LGBTQ+ community from the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.

The blossoming of Denver Pride has come at the hands of countless community members throughout the decades. This year, Linda Kotsaftis joins The Center as a contract journalist to uplift the stories of individuals how have been instrumental in building Denver Pride's legacy.
