Rachel has been on the forefront of cutting edge LGBT family law issues since long before marriage equality. In addition to working with her LGBT clients, she is a frequent presenter on this subject to other family law attorneys and judges. She has orchestrated two amicus briefs to the Colorado Supreme Court on the issue of same-sex retroactive common law marriage and was the 2019 president of the Colorado LGBT Bar Association.
