Jill Sobule Tribute Concert at the JCC

Loading Events

Denver-born singer/songwriter/musician Jill Sobule, who died unexpectedly on May 1, is being honored at more than a dozen Jillith Fairs around the U.S. The events celebrate Jill’s life and music and Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Denver Jewish Community Center (JCC), Jill’s hometown of Denver will host its own Jillith Fair.

The September 21 date at the JCC was to be a performance of Sobule’s hit off-Broadway musical, F*ck 7th Grade. The show had completed its 4th sold-out run last fall in New York City and was set to debut in her hometown, which is the location and basis for her musical.

Jill Sobule was an award-winning singer-songwriter, a human rights activist and queer icon, and this celebration of her life is open to all. Proceeds from the show will support some ofthe many organizations and causes that were important to Sobule.
