Transgender Program
2023 Annual Report

The Transgender Program is a welcoming, affirming program for transgender and gender diverse individuals. We offer weekly and monthly social and support groups, events, and opportunities to connect with our community. The Transgender program served a total of 2,272, a 58% increase from 2022. The Transgender program hired a part time support group coordinator which allowed the program to add several new support groups and train 20 peer facilitators with our new training program. The Transgender program continued to hold the nine support groups from 2022 and added many new support groups this past year. New groups include Trans and Non-binary 40+, In person Trans Masc group, Trans Women’s Alumna group, and a general trans support group on Saturdays.

The Transgender program also held its signature events Transgender Day of Visibility, Transgender Day or Remembrance, and the Queer Author Expo.

We are often reminded of the lifesaving work we do by community members and their loved ones. We are proud to continue providing our community with spaces where they can be themselves, foster social connections outside of bars and dating apps, and access resources they need to thrive.
