Lectures Over Colorado LGBTQ History with Colorado LGBTQ History Project (Part 1 & Part 2: 1500 to 1860, 1860 to 2000) - This lecture will focus on the history of LGBTQ Colorado from the geographic vantage of the region of Colorado. Part 1 will cover the Pre-Colombian LGBTQ History of Mexico and Rocky Mountain Region, through the Colonial Period, and finish with the Revolutionary to post Mexican-American war. Part 2 will cover the period from 1860 to 2000 with a focus on Denver and the creation of the contemporary LGBTQ community in Colorado’s largest city. (Educational resources will be made available).
Lecture will go from 12 - 1, Education Workshop from 1 - 2PM.
