I have been a therapist in the Denver area for 9 years. At PhoenixRISE, I work primarily with the LGBTQIA+ community. This work sometimes includes specific phases of life that are unique to the queer community, such as coming out or transitioning. Other times, the work includes issues that can affect anyone, regardless of one's sexual orientation or gender identity. These issues could include relational conflict, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, career exploration, personal growth, divorce, parenting, etc.
