After spending over 12 years becoming a Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado, Jeannette Guerrasio, MD joined a small internal medicine practice in Denver. In this new setting, she serves the LGBTQI+ community, which is also her community. The practice is a concierge (annual age-based fee, no insurance accepted) practice that allows her to treat patients from 18 to 100+ years old as she had always envisioned – with ample time to see and get to know her patients in a welcoming office, spending time on preventative care, nutrition, physical fitness, and ongoing patient education through weekly emails and regular classes (now on zoom or in the park). She has experience with Prep, PEP, and vaccines recommendations for the LGBTQI+ community, and with trans hormones and surgery referrals, plus other unique physical and mental health needs of the LGBTQI+ community. She is best known for her compassion, availability, and her light-hearted sense of humor.
