Denver to host the second annual Queer AF Engagement Party: An Unconventional Wedding Showcase.
Nearlywed Coaching, Hitched AF, Jennie Crate Photographer, and LGBTQ I Do are thrilled to announce the upcoming Queer AF Engagement Party: An Unconventional Wedding Showcase. This groundbreaking event aims to fill a gap in the wedding showcase landscape and provide an atmosphere of celebration to a group of people who are often overlooked at traditional wedding showcases.
The event will take place Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm at Dry Clean Only Events (DCO). There will be an incredible line up of inclusive vendors ready to meet nearlyweds; from photographers, planners, florists, hair and make-up artists, catering, officiants, and some specialty vendors, we have worked to make the vendors diverse and broad. We are particularly proud to say that over 80% of our vendors are queer owned or have LGBTQ+ employees.
Attendees can expect a fun and exciting event featuring entertainers, food and drinks, and immersive experiences, while also having the chance to meet and talk to inclusive wedding vendors.
The event is open to ALL, regardless of your identity, orientation, or gender expression and we’re excited to highlight and celebrate the diversity in our industry.
Highlights of the Queer AF Engagement Party include:
- Entertainment: Drag performances, DJ’s and other entertainers will give performances throughout the event.
- Immersive Experiences: The event will feature several immersive experiences free for attendees including poetry writing, make up demonstrations, and flash tattoos.
- Amazing Giveaways: Our sponsors are donating some amazing prizes that will be given away during the event. We have prizes equaling over $10,000 in value.
- Meet amazing allied and queer wedding vendors: Meet and talk to a wide variety of wedding vendors who are inclusive to the queer and allied wedding community.
- Support a local non-profit: 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Joy As Resistance providing mental health and community support to Queer Youth!
