SafeHouse Denver presents Survivor Made, a night of film, community, and action to support survivors of Domestic Violence. SURVIVOR MADE is a powerful documentary that redefines the story of gender-based violence, shifting from pain to possibility. The film follows six survivors balancing rich family lives with entrepreneurial dreams, all working toward a collective sales goal through Gifted, a marketplace of survivor-made products founded by FreeFrom.
It is a hopeful film is, not just because it is made by survivors and showcases survivors but also because of the community we can build together. We kept the ticket price low because we wanted it to be inclusive for everyone, and the main goal was to showcase the film and bring inspiration and information to the community.
Thursday, April 3rd, 6-9 pm. We will screen the film and have a short panel afterward.
The Bug Theatre: 3654 Navajo St, Denver, CO 80211
Tickets for this event are $5. There is a $3.02 charge, which is technically $8.02, to cover the cost. Please purchase tickets in advance as they will be $12 at the door. https://gathr.com/events/2c592ac6/survivor-made
