Join fellow LGBTQ+ creative, Bree for two joyful evenings of art, self-expression, and friendship at Community Clay.
Together, we’ll customize sunglasses and paint denim jackets, jeans, and accessories on two different nights to create one-of-a-kind pieces to wear proudly at this year’s Pride celebration.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just want to connect with other queer folks and allies in a creative space, this event is all about celebrating identity, friendship, and fabulous personal style.
June 11-Pride your own Sunglasses $25: In this fun Pride themed event, we will be embellishing the sunglasses you bring to class with fun and colorful beads, paper and glitter. All you need to bring is a pair of sunglasses that you don't mind making permanently fabulous.
June 25- Pride your own Jeans, Canvas Shoes, or Jean Jacket $25: You have your shades, now lets create the rest of your look. We will be using permanent fabric paint so please bring items you don't mind being covered in rainbows. For this class, you'll need a pair of jeans, a pair of canvas shoes, or a jean jacket. We will show you how to make fabric paint out of regular art supplies and make them last on your clothes. Bree will be decked out in her rainbows for inspo.
About your Host: Bree has been a dedicated working artist for most of her life, bringing creativity, skill, and passion to every project. With more than ten years of experience as an art instructor, she has inspired students of all ages to explore their own artistic voices. Known for her patient teaching style and fun, encouraging spirit, Bree creates a welcoming environment where creativity thrives.
What to expect:
• $25 per person for each event. Limited spaces.
• 2 hours of hands-on instruction
• Sunglasses will be provided and BYO. BYO jeans, jacket or canvas shoes.
