The Queer Jam is The Center’s 1st music group offering intergenerational support to LGBTQIA+ folks of all ages through music. Led by Mowgli, a non-binary, neurodivergent, Bangladeshi-American, music therapist, this no-experience-required group will explore various music-based experiences including song sharing, playing instruments in a band, group drumming, songwriting, lyric analysis, music production, exploring the intersections of voice & identity, and more! Folks will learn how music can be used for self-expression & emotional processing while building interdependent support systems.
