NeuroConnect provides high quality neurofeedback (NF) services to a wide spectrum of clients. NF is a form of biofeedback which helps alleviate problematic EEG activity (electrical activity of the brain). For example, someone with a lot of anxiety might have one type of EEG activity. By teaching the brain to have less of this activity through NF, the person will subsequently experience decreased anxiety. NeuroConnect uses QEEG brain mapping to look at the electrical activity of the brain. From there, treatment is planned using the QEEG and client goals/desires. NeuroConnect works with a wide range of symptoms and focuses including sleep issues, anxiety, depression, TBI, and more. A common concern regarding NF is that people don't want to change themselves. The NeuroConnect response to that is that we don't want to change you either, we just want it to be easier to be you.
