Join Outcrop Wilderness— a small outdoor guiding company run by long-time colleagues and friends, James and Kate—for an immersive 5-day, 4-night backpacking trek in the Sawatch Range mountains outside Vail. Our trips are run by and made for LGBTQ+ folks. We offer community connection, outdoor skill-building opportunities, and supportive group pacing for seasoned pros and beginners alike! If you’re new (or new-ish) to backpacking, this is a great trip to learn the basics of backpacking in a supportive group setting. If you’re experienced and looking for a challenge, this is a great trip to practice some off-trail navigation under the tutelage of experienced guides.
