Attention Community Members:
As a major part of Denver Water’s Pipe Replacement Program, crews will replace more than 5 miles of 130-year-old pipe beneath East Colfax Avenue from Broadway to Yosemite Street. Denver Water will also replace any lead service lines encountered during the pipe replacement work. For more information about Denver Water’s Lead Reduction Program, visit denverwater.org/lead.
What does this mean for The Center?
The Center on Colfax is expected to be impacted by road construction during the fall of 2023. Starting in September, Phase 2 of the project is will impact Marion St, Lafayette St, Humboldt St, Park Avenue, and Franklin Street. Please expect traffic delays during the construction process and please expect parking difficulties as street parking along Colfax will be impacted.
