Though the 2021 Denver PrideFest, Unite with Pride, was not entirely live and in-person, The Center worked hard to make it an event to remember. Partners that helped celebrate Pride in-person included restaurants, bars, and community centers citywide.
The Center on Colfax was the official in-person hub for Denver PrideFest. On June 26 and 27, 2021 The Center transformed its parking lot into the Coors Light Beer Garden featuring Coors beers, food trucks, exhibitors, and rooftop entertainment.
The Denver PRIDE 5K presented by Smartwool was a family-friendly event held on Saturday, June 26. All in-person racing slots sold out, and there was a virtual option for those who wished to practice social distancing.
Other in-person activities included those hosted by The Triangle Bar, Babes Around Denver, Cattivella, Hamburger Mary’s, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and Denver Film.
The 2021 Coors Light Denver Pride Parade was held virtually to avoid large gatherings due to the pandemic. The Coors Light Virtual Denver Pride Parade was streamed Saturday, June 26 through Denver Pride’s official media partner, Denver7.
Other virtual events were hosted on The Center on Colfax's Youtube Channel. On Saturday, June 26 there was a virtual Center Stage and a virtual Dyke March. The ONE Colorado Rally also occurred on Sunday, June 27.
