You'll get to meet the candidates\, learn where they stand on important issues like student mental health\, bullying prevention\, inclusion\, accessibility\, the politicization of classrooms\, and safety in schools. RSVP here. \nA respected community leader will moderate the conversation with questions\, helping highlight each candidate’s priorities and approach. This is a nonpartisan\, free and open event to help our community vote with confidence. Your voice matters. The doors to this event open at 6pm.  \nModerated by: Dr. Lisa A. Escárcega. Dr. Lisa A. Escárcega was elected to the Colorado State Board of Education in November 2020 representing the 1st Congressional District.  \nDr. Escárcega began her 36-year career in education as a School \nPsychologist and she most recently served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE).  \n¡Acompáñanos para tener la oportunidad de escuchar directamente a los candidatos para transformar nuestras escuelas locales!
