SUMMARY:LGBTQ+ Try-It Night at the Wheel
DESCRIPTION:Who is this for?\nThis event is intended for LGBTQ+ community members\, including lesbian\, Gay\, bi\, pansexual\, queer\, and trans men and women\, as well as other LGBTQ+ aligned people who feel at home in affirming spaces. \nThis class is all about exploration\, laughter\, and making something with your hands. Our instructor will guide you through the basics of wheel throwing while you connect with others in a relaxed\, judgment-free environment. \nWe keep our classes small to ensure you get the attention and instruction you need\, so spaces are limited. \nWhat to Expect: \n\n$85 per person (includes all materials)\n2 hours of hands-on guidance\n1 finished piece included\nA fun\, relaxed environment to unleash your creativity!\n\nNo need to bring anything with you except your creativity! We provide aprons\, clay\, tools\, and an encouraging atmosphere. This is a one-time event. We will fire your piece in the kiln\, glaze it for you\, and have it ready for pickup in about 3 weeks.\nFriday\, August 28th \n6:00-8:00 pm \n3349 Blake St.\, Denver\, CO \n18+ only. BYOB. SUMMARY:Gay and Bi Men's Special Event: Catch-all/Trinket Tray
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed\, hands-on pottery workshop designed for Gay & Bi Men (18+) where you’ll create your own ceramic catchall or trinket tray from clay. Whether you’re brand new to pottery or returning to the studio\, this class is a fun and welcoming space to connect\, create\, and unwind. \nDate: Friday\, June 12\, 2026 \nTime: 6:00–8:00 PM \nLocation: Community Clay RiNo \nAlex will guide you through the handbuilding process and various finishing techniques as you shape and decorate a functional ceramic tray perfect for jewelry\, keys\, candles\, accessories\, or everyday essentials. This workshop focuses on hand-sculpting and molding techniques using clay and a variety of pottery tools rather than a pottery wheel. \nWhat to expect: \n• $75 per person\n• 2 hours of hands-on clay instruction\n• 1 large finished ceramic catchall/trinket tray included per person or 2 medium\n• A relaxed\, social\, LGBTQ+ affirming environment \nNo prior experience is needed\, just bring yourself. All materials\, tools\, clay\, glazing\, and firing are included. \nAfter the workshop\, we’ll professionally glaze and fire your piece\, and it will be ready for pickup in approximately 3 weeks. \nTickets are limited. 18+
