SUMMARY:The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show
DESCRIPTION:The greatest holiday show south of the North Pole is back with another brand spankin? New wintertide wonder! Award-winning comedy icons\, writers\, actors\, and drag queen powerhouses BenDeLaCreme & Jinkx Monsoon come to town with the wildly successful\, internationally acclaimed\, "The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show." You never know what unexpected sleigh ride these queens have in store. In the past 8 years\, Jinkx & DeLa have twisted space-time with Dickensian Ghosts\, escaped the meta clutches of their own holiday traditions\, and led a harrowing rescue mission in the Nutcracker's Land of Sweets. Fans can expect another year of over-the-top camp spectacle\, side-splitting gags\, brand new songs\, heartfelt storytelling\, thrilling dance numbers\, and iconic costumes. Hailed by Entertainment Weekly as "the reigning queens of Christmas\," this show is not only a moment of respite\, but a celebration of community\, at a time when we need it most of all.

SUMMARY:Becoming A Man in 127 Easy Steps - Global Streaming Release
DESCRIPTION:Global Release Event!\n \nPart comedy special\, part oral history\, and part love letter to becoming your true self\, Becoming a Man in 127 EASY Steps chronicles two decades of Emmy-nominated creator/performer Scott Turner Schofield’s life as an out transgender man. With a knowing nod to the often-overlooked comedy of transitioning\, the film reflects on the many layers of becoming oneself\, exploring nuanced truths and breaking important new ground in trans representation. \nTwice censored (so far) and arriving amid a cultural and legislative reckoning\, the film resists simplification in what it explores\, how it tells the story\, and the form it takes. Instead\, Schofield brings vulnerability\, wit\, and presence to the details of his own life\, connecting the personal to the universal and reminding audiences of all we share. \nFunny\, profound\, and fiercely honest\, Becoming a Man in 127 EASY Steps celebrates complexity and invites viewers to consider\, more deeply and compassionately\, what becoming—and being—a man can mean. \nAvailable to stream on Kinema starting 1/27/26

SUMMARY:The Pride Shelter Initiative Donation Collection: Parker\, CO
DESCRIPTION:The Pride Shelter Initiative is a Girl Scout Gold Award project in partnership with The Center on Colfax\, collecting donations to support homeless transgender individuals through care bags and community resources. This effort provides essential items that promote hygiene\, comfort\, and dignity while connecting people to affirming healthcare\, shelter\, and support services. By addressing the unique challenges and discrimination faced by transgender individuals experiencing housing insecurity\, this project aims to foster inclusivity\, compassion\, and understanding within our community. Through outreach and collaboration\, we hope to inspire others to contribute to inclusive resources and safe spaces for all. \nDonations of practical items make a real difference. We’re seeking new: backpacks\, hygiene supplies/toiletries\, and clothing such as socks and undergarments. Gender-affirming items like makeup\, hair care products for all textures\, and new binders or sports bras help ensure every recipient feels seen and respected. Small denomination gift cards to grocery stores are also greatly appreciated. \nPlease note: we can only accept new items for this initiative. Used items cannot be accepted at this time. \nYou can provide donations at any time directly to The Center on Colfax\, during their open business hours\, indicating they are for The Pride Shelter Initiative \n\n1301 E. SUMMARY:Fruity Film Society: Free Queer Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:Fruity Film Society is a queer film club meeting in Denver. Its purpose is to bring together members of the local queer community as we engage with our art\, culture\, and history. Sie FilmCenter has generously allowed us to use the Henderson-Withey Lounge in their lobby to host our screenings. Meetings are free to attend\, and you do *not* need to be a Denver Film Member. We meet once a month\, and each screening is kept a mystery (with some clues thrown in\, of course). All films shown feature queer narratives\, queer creators\, and/or cultural importance within the queer community. We’re interested in films big and small\, from all over the world. You’ll see some queer classics\, as well as some hidden gems.\n\nPlease come join us for our next meeting on 2/16/26! There is a discussion segment at the end of every screening so we can all get to know each other and share in our appreciation for film. Out of respect for Sie\, please don’t bring any outside food or beverages with you aside from water. They’ve got concessions and a full bar if you need anything. Hope to see you there!
