The group operates based on important and fundamental concepts about sexuality and ages. Older adults can examine and possibly change the “sexual scripts” they have learned from childhood about to think and behave as sexual people. Many of these scripts are not relevant for older adults. Additionally\, sex is more than intercourse. To schedule an appointment\, you can call or text the Denver Health Outreach mobile number at 720-415-7075\, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM\, or click here for online scheduling options. Please note that Denver Health will take the last person 30 minutes prior to closing. \nUpcoming Testing Dates \n\nMonday October 17: 10:30am - 5pm\nTuesday November 18: 11:15am - 5:15pm\nWednesday November 19: 10:30am - 5pm\nMonday November 24: 10:30am - 5pm\nTuesday November 25: 11:15am - 5:15pm\n\nFAQ's: \nWhat tests are available? HIV\, STI\, etc.? \nPrevention in Outreach offers rapid testing for HIV\, Hepatitis C and Syphilis. Syphilis rapid testing is dependent on not having been diagnosed for syphilis prior. Chlamydia and gonorrhea tests are completed through traditional lab-based testing\, with results taking between 2-3 business days. The Outreach team will discuss options for how results are delivered to clients. \nHow does one make an appointment? What days can one make an appointment? What are the general hours testing is available? \nAppointments are typically offered Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and Thursdays from 12:00 - 4:00 PM. There are some exceptions to this general schedule\, so see above for specific upcoming dates. There are morning and evening walk-in times available\, please call or text 720-415-7075 for locations and hours. \nWe also provide pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) education and navigation services. There are payment assistance options that we can help enroll individuals into and help schedule appointments\, all at no cost.

DESCRIPTION:STI Appointments at the Center on Colfax are available on an array of dates throughout each month. See below for specific upcoming available dates. \nMost testing dates require an appointment\, unless otherwise noted in the Upcoming Testing Dates list below. To schedule an appointment\, you can call or text the Denver Health Outreach mobile number at 720-415-7075\, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM\, or click here for online scheduling options. Please note that Denver Health will take the last person 30 minutes prior to closing. \nUpcoming Testing Dates \n\nMonday October 17: 10:30am - 5pm\nTuesday November 18: 11:15am - 5:15pm\nWednesday November 19: 10:30am - 5pm\nMonday November 24: 10:30am - 5pm\nTuesday November 25: 11:15am - 5:15pm\n\nFAQ's: \nWhat tests are available? HIV\, STI\, etc.? \nPrevention in Outreach offers rapid testing for HIV\, Hepatitis C and Syphilis. Syphilis rapid testing is dependent on not having been diagnosed for syphilis prior. Chlamydia and gonorrhea tests are completed through traditional lab-based testing\, with results taking between 2-3 business days. The Outreach team will discuss options for how results are delivered to clients. \nHow does one make an appointment? What days can one make an appointment? What are the general hours testing is available? \nAppointments are typically offered Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and Thursdays from 12:00 - 4:00 PM. There are some exceptions to this general schedule\, so see above for specific upcoming dates. Appointments are held at The Center on Colfax. \nTo schedule an appointment\, you can call or text our Outreach mobile number at 720-415-7075\, Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. \nOther important information -  \nThe Public Health Institute at Denver Health’s Outreach team does provide testing services outside of The Center\, on a walk-in basis\, daily\, at multiple locations  throughout the Metro. There are morning and evening walk-in times available\, please call or text 720-415-7075 for locations and hours. \nWe also provide pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) education and navigation services. There are payment assistance options that we can help enroll individuals into and help schedule appointments\, all at no cost.

The goal of this event is to curate a space to inspire and empower QTPOC\, and to provide them with resources to help them enter a fulfilling career or get to that next level in their current career. \nMelanated & Motivated spans two days and will include a series of professional development workshops on Friday\, November 21 and a career fair on Saturday\, November 22.  The professional development workshops are designed to be interactive sessions to help attendees develop and/or enhance specific skills related to professional/personal development. Some key areas that will be covered are creating a vision/goal setting\, career coaching\, resume building\, interviewing skills\, and dressing for success to name a few. The career fair will provide attendees with an opportunity to explore local companies\, learn about open positions\, network with professionals\, and/or perhaps have a first initial interview.
