I'm a ceramic artist\, photographer\, and teacher. My work is about seeing yourself in a piece of art and living fantastically and creatively through clay. My primary focus as an artist is my figurine work which centers around trans\, non-binary\, and non-white bodies and mythology. I work with low and mid-fire stoneware out of my home and a local community studio. I am also a youth and adult teacher who hopes to instill in my students the infinite possibilities that have been and can be created through ceramics. \nHandbuilding is a traditional method of creating with clay and does not include use of the potter's wheel.

SUMMARY:Older\, Wiser\, Sexually Smarter - Rediscovering Intimacy Later in Life
DESCRIPTION:Older\, Wiser\, Sexually Smarter - Rediscovering Intimacy Later in Life\nThis weekly discussion group is facilitated by a West of 50 staff member and focuses on dismantling sexual misconceptions and introducing evidence-based topics to help older adults engage in their best sex-positive-selves. The group operates based on important and fundamental concepts about sexuality and ages. Older adults can examine and possibly change the “sexual scripts” they have learned from childhood about to think and behave as sexual people. Many of these scripts are not relevant for older adults. Additionally\, sex is more than intercourse. Especially in the later years\, individuals can to explore the possibilities of non-penetrative sex\, or “outercourse”. \nWe cover topics such as \n\nSexual decisions later in life\nGood Sex: What Makes it So\nLooking for Love Later in Life\nSafer Sex Activities for Older Adults\nFrom Problems to Possibilities: Sexuality\, Aging\, Disability\, & Chronic Illness\nBottoming\nNipple play\nBondage & Discipline\nDominance & Submission\nSex History\nOral Sex\nAnd so much more!\n\nWhen: Every Other Tuesday\, 2:00 - 3:30 PM \nWhere: Stonewall Meeting Room at The Center on Colfax - 1301 East Colfax Ave\, Denver\, CO 80218 \nContact Information: Please contact Bryant Mehay at bmehay@lgbtqcolorado.org

SUMMARY:Understanding My Sexual Orientation for Those on the Spectrum
DESCRIPTION:Understanding My Sexual Orientation for Those on the Spectrum is a class created specifically for neurodivergent individuals who want a safe\, supportive\, and structured environment to explore their sexual orientation. Many autistic folks experience sexuality and attraction in unique ways that don’t always fit into mainstream categories or timelines. This workshop honors those differences by offering clear\, compassionate language\, sensory-considerate discussion formats\, and opportunities for personal reflection. \nTogether\, we’ll explore concepts like romantic vs. sexual attraction\, different types of relationships (monogamous\, polyamorous\, queerplatonic)\, and common labels used in LGBTQIA+ communities—while making space for questioning\, nuance\, and individual interpretation. We’ll also talk about how to navigate internalized expectations\, sensory preferences\, and communication styles that can affect how we understand or express our identities. \nThis class is open to anyone on the autism spectrum\, whether you're just beginning to explore these questions or have been out for years but want deeper insight. It’s okay not to have the “right” words or to still be figuring things out—this is a space where curiosity and self-discovery are celebrated. Facilitated by an experienced educator and therapist\, this session will prioritize consent\, comfort\, and community-building every step of the way. \nAbout the Instructor:  Fawn O’Breitzman has been a college professor for over 20 years. She specializes in issues of Sex and Gender and presents at conferences all around the country. She does inclusion training for businesses and has worked with everyone from hospitals to construction yards to help companies make sure they are providing the best and most respectful care to their clients. She has been a social worker\, therapist\, and a professor. She has been married to a neurodivergent gender queer person for 24 years and understands the need to be concrete and straight-forward when discussing topics of human behavior! \nThis class is appropriate for adults and teens. \n
