DESCRIPTION:Join Outcrop Wilderness— a small outdoor guiding company run by long-time colleagues and friends\, James and Kate—for an immersive 5-day\, 4-night backpacking trek in the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness outside Westcliffe. Our trips are run by and made for LGBTQ+ folks. We offer community connection\, outdoor skill-building opportunities\, and supportive group pacing for seasoned pros and beginners alike. \nThis trip offers the opportunity to kick back and relax in alpenglow evenings by clear mountain waters as we visit a series of high alpine lakes. Make no mistake—if the views on this trip don’t take your breath away\, the climbs surely will! Our route is designed to be challenging in bursts so that the time we spend relaxing feels that much better.
