SUMMARY:Push'n Pansies
DESCRIPTION:Push'n Pansies\n\nOver Our Dead Bodies – Yikes! Now What?!? \n**Please Note: In October 2025\, we will meet on the third Wednesday of the month instead of our usual second Wednesday meeting time.** \nOh\, boy! We thought this day would never come! But gosh darn it\, in spite of having made other plans\, here we are…we’re dead! Now\, what the heck do we do? \nWell\, oops\, scratch that! What do our closest people do with what’s left of us? \nNow that our spirit has danced on across the rainbow bridge or wherever it’s wandered off to\, someone needs to deal with this body…this sack of skin and bones and fluids that can no longer take care of itself\, make decisions and pay bills. \nWell\, if our loved ones are lucky\, those decisions have already been made\, and everything was paid for ahead of time. \nBut not to worry if you’re not there yet\, because we’ve got you covered when Karen Keeran from Golden Heart Transition returns for our October meeting of Push'n Pansies. She’ll be giving us the low down on all the Colorado end of life options from burials to cremations\, and donations to services. \nNot only will she share about all the traditional funeral home offerings\, but she’ll be sharing the latest intel on the greener and non-traditional options too. If you’ve been curious to learn more about terramations\, water cremations\, green burials\, body donations and more\, this is your chance. \nThis is another great gift that your loved ones won’t be excited about now. But trust us\, they’ll thank you and their lucky stars later! \n\nDate: Wednesday\, October 15 \nTime: 1:00 - 2:00 PM \nLocation: The Center on Colfax - 1301 East Colfax Ave\, Denver\, CO 80218

SUMMARY:Older\, Wiser\, Sexually Smarter - Rediscovering Intimacy Later in Life
DESCRIPTION:Older\, Wiser\, Sexually Smarter - Rediscovering Intimacy Later in Life\nThis weekly discussion group is facilitated by a West of 50 staff member and focuses on dismantling sexual misconceptions and introducing evidence-based topics to help older adults engage in their best sex-positive-selves. The group operates based on important and fundamental concepts about sexuality and ages. Older adults can examine and possibly change the “sexual scripts” they have learned from childhood about to think and behave as sexual people. Many of these scripts are not relevant for older adults. Additionally\, sex is more than intercourse. Especially in the later years\, individuals can to explore the possibilities of non-penetrative sex\, or “outercourse”. \nWe cover topics such as \n\nSexual decisions later in life\nGood Sex: What Makes it So\nLooking for Love Later in Life\nSafer Sex Activities for Older Adults\nFrom Problems to Possibilities: Sexuality\, Aging\, Disability\, & Chronic Illness\nBottoming\nNipple play\nBondage & Discipline\nDominance & Submission\nSex History\nOral Sex\nAnd so much more!\n\nWhen: Every Other Tuesday\, 2:00 - 3:30 PM \nWhere: Stonewall Meeting Room at The Center on Colfax - 1301 East Colfax Ave\, Denver\, CO 80218 \nContact Information: Please contact Bryant Mehay at bmehay@lgbtqcolorado.org
