They circulate secondhand clothing through clothing swaps\, upcycling workshops\, and mutual aid distribution. The clothing in their shop is sourced from our clothing swap events and community donations. They also work with small fashion designers that upcycle to repurpose and sell one-of-a-kind fashionable clothing. They are building a zero-waste secondhand fashion system that centers community and climate. Learn more about our work at theclothingcycle.com.  \nSomething Blue Color Studio   \nWith over ten years of experience in the fashion industry and over 100 clients analyzed\, Maddie is a color analysis pro with a passion for adding more whimsy\, silliness\, and words of affirmation to every consultation.   \nAfter receiving her own color analysis results in 2024 and feeling more fabulous in her own skin than ever before\, Maddie knew she wanted to help others find their best colors. She is a trained master color analyst in the International Image Institute 23-Season method.   \nMaddie celebrates everyone in her color analysis practice. People of all ethnicities\, gender expressions\, ages\, body sizes\, and backgrounds are welcomed. As a queer person\, Maddie cultivates a space for people to authentically show up as their whole selves.   \nLearn more at https://www.somethingbluecolorstudio.com/.   \nOutlaw Barber  \nElizabeth is a trans\, West Coast- trained barber who provides a traditional barber shop atmosphere without the tradition of misogyny. After graduating from barber school back in 2021\, she moved to Colorado to pursue her passion! Her love of queer styles continues to grow just as fast as your hair.   \nHer hair pursuits are blurry fades\, textured styles\, and clean lines. When she's not behind the chair\, she spends her time cycling around Ccapitol Hill or playing/watching baseball! Her goal as your barber is to learn and grow with your hair. If you leave smiling\, so does she. The Outlaw Barber is the name. Affirming haircuts is my game.  \nRosé Curley \nRosé Curley is the founder and owner of Curls\, Kinks & Coils and has been working with nothing but textured hair since they finished school in 2017. They were born and raised in Colorado so one of their passions is community and giving back where they see that there is something missing. As a queer\, polyam\, non-binary person\, Rosé strives to break barriers for BIPOC\, LGBTQIA+\, and all people who have been ostracized by society. \nIan Duvall \nTwo years ago\, Ian followed a passion that had been brewing for a lifetime and earned his Barber License. Since then\, he's brought an infectious energy to the chair every single day. Starting his journey as a Master Barber in Tennessee\, Ian's craft has taken him through North Carolina and finally to his current home here in Denver\, Colorado.\nFor Ian\, hair isn't just a service—it's an art form. Growing up immersed in music and creative arts\, he views every client as a rockstar preparing to take the stage. Whether you are looking for:\n• Flowing Length: Expertly shaped long styles and natural movement.\n• Retro Revival: Bold\, vintage looks like Shags and Mullets.\n• Modern Precision: Sharp\, stylish fades executed with class. \nIan is currently behind the chair at Barber X barbershop in RiNo\, located at 3320 Brighton Blvd.\nBarber X is a queer-owned barbershop that welcomes all genders.\nReach out to jiwancio@lgbtqcolorado.org for more information.
