DESCRIPTION:Our document archiving group focuses on archiving LGBTQ+ history\, teaching archiving practices\, and outreach to partner organizations for archiving services. We communicate with LGBTQ+ organizations in Denver and Colorado for consultation\, archiving\, and housing of resources. Community members are welcom eto email us in advance at history@lgbtqcolorado.org\, drop off materials\, or mail materials to The Center to be archived by the Colorado LGBTQ History Project. Collections are donated to local museums\, libraries\, and archives for preservation and public research. Please be sure to contact us before donating materials to ensure the hand off and paperwork are in order.
