There’s no assigned reading\, no discussion circles — just you\, your book\, and the soft hum of others doing the same. \nThis summer\, we gather inside the galleries and on the rooftop deck of MCA Denver\, reading in quiet company against the backdrop of The Future is Present\, The Harbinger is Home—an exhibition that traces questions of place\, memory\, and belonging across shifting landscapes. Drawn from the New Orleans-based triennial Prospect.6\, the works on view invite us to consider what it means to inhabit a place shaped by water\, migration\, and time. \nYou’re welcome to read in the exhibition spaces or take your book to the rooftop café for open air and city views. \nHow It Works:\n– Doors open at 5:30 PM. Come and go as you please.\n– Register in advance to reserve your spot\n– Check in with Denver Public Library staff at the entrance\n– Save your QR code for quick check-in at the event\n– Choose your reading spot — in the galleries or on the rooftop\n– Receive a stamp in your Silent Pages Society passport. Collect five to earn a limited-edition literary prize \nPlease note: These programs regularly fill up. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate pride and yourself by signing up for free yoga this summer! \nThis summer\, Blake O'Connor is offering free weekly yoga classes specifically for the Denver LGBTQ+ community. These classes are designed for all levels of activity\, flexibility\, and yoga practice experience. As part of his Master's practicum\, these hour-long Ashtanga-style yoga classes (no heat or music) include physical postures (asana) and light breathwork (pranayama) to help you recover\, focus\, and feel great. All we ask is that you commit to attending one class per week for 6 weeks\, and complete three quick surveys (pre\, mid\, post) to help with the research. Classes are designed to help practitioners improve mobility\, enhance concentration\, develop their own practice\, and build community connection in a relaxed setting. \nReady to roll out your mat?
