The group operates based on important and fundamental concepts about sexuality and ages. Older adults can examine and possibly change the “sexual scripts” they have learned from childhood about to think and behave as sexual people. Many of these scripts are not relevant for older adults. Additionally\, sex is more than intercourse. DESCRIPTION:Our document archiving group focuses on archiving LGBTQ+ history\, teaching archiving practices\, and outreach to partner organizations for archiving services. We communicate with LGBTQ+ organizations in Denver and Colorado for consultation\, archiving\, and housing of resources. Community members are welcom eto email us in advance at history@lgbtqcolorado.org\, drop off materials\, or mail materials to The Center to be archived by the Colorado LGBTQ History Project. Collections are donated to local museums\, libraries\, and archives for preservation and public research. Please be sure to contact us before donating materials to ensure the hand off and paperwork are in order. This is a safe\, drop-in space providing peer-run social support\, engaging conversation\, and relevant resources to attendees. Support groups at The Center on Colfax are always free to attend.
