DESCRIPTION:Join Outcrop Wilderness— a small outdoor guiding company run by long-time colleagues and friends\, James and Kate—for an immersive 5-day\, 4-night backpacking trek in the Sawatch Range mountains outside Vail. Our trips are run by and made for LGBTQ+ folks. We offer community connection\, outdoor skill-building opportunities\, and supportive group pacing for seasoned pros and beginners alike! If you’re new (or new-ish) to backpacking\, this is a great trip to learn the basics of backpacking in a supportive group setting. If you’re experienced and looking for a challenge\, this is a great trip to practice some off-trail navigation under the tutelage of experienced guides. We’ll take care of all the logistics and food—all you have to do is show up and have a good time! Trip cost is available on a sliding scale basis—visit our website to learn more and sign up!

DESCRIPTION:PRESENTED BY MILE HIGH QUEER CLUB AND DENVER PRIDE \nMile High Queer Club and Denver Pride are teaming up to make nature even gayer. Live out your summer camp fantasies and hop on a bus headed to Staunton State Park. There will be multiple hiking options for all abilities\, from accessible trails to more rigorous routes for our outdoor experts. After a day in the sun\, we'll head back to Denver for drinks at a local brewery. Join us to hike\, hang\, and celebrate Pride in the most Colorado fashion — in the mountains.   \nThanks to Staunton's Track Chair program\, there are accessible options for everyone. Staunton State Park offers the use of the Action Track-Chair\, which allows visitors to explore designated trails in the park.
