Drawing from the French tradition of salons, which facilitated considerate discussion of important ideas in the public sphere, the Online Women’s Salon is a Monthly, online group meeting for women to come together, socialize, and converse about a pre-selected topic. This group welcomes all self-identified women age 50+.

OUR TOPIC FOR AUGUST 7 WILL BE - Seize the Day

“The greatest loss of time is delay and expectation, which depend upon the future. We let go the present, which we have in our power, and look forward to that which depends upon chance, and so relinquish a certainty for an uncertainty.” Seneca

Do you delay and procrastinate or just go ahead and get things done? Are you good at “seizing the moment”? Or do you often wait for a better time to come along in the future? How does our present strange coronavirus life change how we act?
