Queer and Trans Yoga (Transgender Program)
Every Monday | 6:00-7:00pm
“What is yoga? Can I do yoga if I'm not flexible? I want to try yoga, but I'm scared.”
If you've said or thought things like this, then Queer & Trans Yoga with Drewsilla and #GiraffeMagick is for you!
Drewsilla is a fiercely embodied, nonbinary transwoman, a queer witch and artist, who lives her life through the infinite love of #GiraffeMagick. As a newly certified yoga teacher with over 200 hours of training, Drewsilla is ready and excited to create spaces for others to find physical/mental/spiritual transformation in their own right. She has said, time and again, “I am not here to change you. I am here, holding out my hand, inviting you to change yourself.”
A movement started by Drewsilla in 2018, #GiraffeMagick is all about giving yourself permission to take up space in this world, to take up Your space, the space only You can fill. Yoga is an incredible, transformative practice that can help you begin to feel empowered and embodied, so that you can begin to learn what taking up Your space looks like for You.
Are you ready to truly meet yourself?
How to Get Involved: Attend the weekly group practice to begin. No RSVP is necessary to attend.
