11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at The Center on Colfax
Asexuality and aromanticism are two commonly misunderstood sexual and romantic orientations. Join us in a presentation and discussion about the experiences of asexual and aromantic people, learn about some of misconceptions which come up around these topics, and talk about the different types of asexual identities, such as demisexual and graysexual. We will also be talking about ways we can support our friends, loved ones, and community members who might be exploring their own sexual and romantic identities or questioning if they too might be asexual or aromantic. Front desk volunteer and facilitator for the Ace Space support group, Elphie Forbes, BA Psychology, will be presenting and sharing her knowledge on this emerging topic. This a safe space to ask question and learn, so please bring your own and inquisitive minds. As with all Lunch and Learns, there will be free food! We look forward to seeing you!
