Description

  • We are the HIV/STI/HCV Prevention and Outreach Program at Denver Public Health. We offer free and confidential HIV/STI/HCV testing and education at a variety of community based locations.
  • Our team will explain your testing options and help you decide what the right tests are for you. Visits with Outreach are professional, relaxed and free from judgment. All people are welcome and we pride ourselves on having sex-positive conversations with clients.
  • We test for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis C through a blood draw or finger stick. Gonorrhea and Chlamydia can occur in the genitals, throat and rectum, we are able to test in these three sites. Gonorrhea and Chlamydia testing is done by collecting a urine sample, throat swab and self administered rectal swab.
  • Visits with our team takes 30-45 minutes, please bring a picture ID. Visits are free and on a walk-in basis, no insurance is needed.
  • HIV and Hepatitis C results are available at the time of your visit with us. Syphilis results take 7-10 business days. Gonorrhea and Chlamydia results are available in 3-5 business days.
